Honouring Wətanmy Powwow
July 19, 20, & 21 at Tsartlip Soccer Field (800 Stelly's X Rd) • Everyone Welcome
Join us for our 29th annual powwow honouring our mother, grandmother or great-grandmother Alice "Wətanmy" Sampson.
This year we will be outdoors at Tsartlip's Soccer Field. Our powwow is drug and alcohol free, the grounds are pet-free other than certified service dogs. There is limited parking, please consider car-pooling.
We will be hosting a concession stand, which helps to fund the powwow. There will also be a vendors market, register now to secure a vendor spot. Loonie Toonies will be held on-site all weekend, make sure to come see what's available.
You can support the powwow through our concession, signing up to volunteer, or to donating by e-transfer to sampsonpowwow@gmail.com or by donating online.
As many of you know each year we gather to honour the teachings of our ancestors on the Nez Perce side of our family's heritage. Alice “Wətanmy” Sampson was born into the Nez Perce Nation in Ahsahka, Idaho.
